Bully puffs his chest and shows a sneer

one aim alone, to create fear

to strut and boast and have his way

to make any and all objectors pay

Does anyone know the reason why

is there something lacking in this guy

something at home he can't abide

a painful secret he's trying to hide

Personalities manifest in many ways

not all enjoyed halcyon days

no confidence or creature comforts

expressing the truth sometimes hurts

So insecurity displays as bullying

a need to represent as king

but the actions taken, we should be clear

most likely come from his own fear

To ostracize won't mend his plight

just strengthen his resolve to fight

no, we need an understanding balm

an outstretched empathetic palm

A secure and patient intervention

where he can embrace our full intention

gain some peace of mind

and leave his bullying behind

Like it or not, they are people too
