No Time 

 Lessons become less clear 

But the test is very near 

Am I destined to be the things that I see? 

Thugs on T.V. 

Far from the truth 

They claim that's the proof 

The mirror shows a king 

Your eyes say different things 

"Destroying the youth" 

"Criminals let loose" 

Why don't you see wings 

We work so we can fly 

If I go where I can glow why must you aim at the sky 

At me and the birds 

"Just trying to be free 

Forgetting what I heard 

Blocking out all the words 

The key is that heart 

Born in that heat 

Held down from the start 

Chained to that street

Lost possessions leave an empty hand 

Lost fire leaves an empty man 

Stole our freedom 

No luck, just hurt and sorrow 

No love, just hope for tomorrow 

 Tears mean more from a man that's hollow 

No time to borrow 

No time to waste
