I'll Grow Up

One day

I'll grow up.

I'll be big and strong.

I'll be responsible.

I'll go to work.

I'll be a role model.

But...

When I grow up,

I'll learn Earth's problems.

I'll face humanity's issues.

I'll understand the way media manipulates.

I'll see ignorance and hate.

I'll experience how some politics are corrupted.

But...

I'll learn people are good at heart.

I'll learn they make themselves bad.

I'll learn that children like me learn from grown ups.

So, when I grow up,

I'll be a good person.

So I can teach people to be good.

Not be bad.
