"I'am Not A Failure"

If I walked along the right lines,

I would have made it to the top,

But I'm not perfect and I guess nobody is,

Imagine if everyone had no flaws,

Where would we get the laws?,

I didn't listen to my folks,

When they said I should study more,

I thought I would get it alright,

Instead I got it wrong,

I didn't commit a crime so I'm not criminal,

I'm just a little failure you're waiting to appear,

Waiting for the whispers to start between you and them,

So I can't hear I brought shame into our family frame,

I've been told my future won't be bright,

But it's not too late the change my plans,

One day I'll be the name people shall scream,

My poetry shall be read in every school,

Won't that be cool?,

I shall have fans and my figure covered in gold,

My legacy won't become old, not before oblivion comes,

When it does, the world will turn to ash,

Along with me, my notes, my books, everyone and the cash.
