frozen heart (Hazma_Valentine)

This poem was first sent to Danielle and then to me personally. It was from a 69 year old man whose profile seems to have disappeared. I will post the poem anyway, in hopes he may return.

A wrinkled leaf in a grave of snow,

Lives there a heart burried deep and low,

Shattered'n splintered, for the spring was gone,

So came winter, took all joy it had ever known,

Dare not hope, for that sun shall never dawn,

Light to melt ice, lives there a heart cold as stone,

Ragin' blizzards above, dark nights ever haunt,

All her memmories, days of cheer'n flaunt,

Time goes by, each day more painful than last,

Beware passerby, for here lies the frozen heart
