Forgiveness

A thought came to mind

when I saw your face,

I remembered the time

when you left without a trace.

I remembered how much I cried

because you left me behind,

With so much sadness in my eyes

               I turned blind.

All the times you made me suffer

made me wonder why I stayed,

I forgot everything because

                I was afraid.

No matter how much I deny,

It hurt me to say goodbye.

It made me wonder what I could do,

But I realized you always knew.

That I would come begging for

               FORGIVENESS,

Because you will always be my one

and only

                WEAKNESS.
