Behind Your Mask

You're a good person,

but you're a liar.

I'm warning you,

don't play with fire.

You played with my feelings once,

you played with my feelings twice.

I trusted you,

but now you're turning my heart into ice.

I get that you had a rough past,

I get that you want a change.

But this doesn't give you the right,

to play with my heart with such rage.

You're still my friend,

all friends have flaws.

But my question is,

was it better how it was?
