My Little Friends
A silly poem I wrote for my daughters.
I've got a naughty howler monkey living in one ear
She makes me do crazy things then gives a deafening cheer
In the other there's a kookaburra who really tickles when she laughs
Now and then you'll see her face amongst the gooey wax
In my right nostril there's a honey bee and how she loves to tease
She hums and runs around and around until she makes me sneeze
In the left some yodelling tree frogs who tie my hairs into a knot
They love the winter months and sing karaoke in my snot
But the most annoying is a chimpanzee who bangs a big bass drum
She's louder than the others because she echoes from my bum!
