In darkness of my dreams,
Life isn't how it seems,
I'm hiding from my mind,
Seems we've run out of time.

We danced in shadows,
Told stories in the night,
But we watched our love whither,
As I tried to walk to light.

Seems you didn't understand,
It wasn't fun or play,
The pain I held was in my hands,
But it couldn't fly away.

I've been forsaken by you,
Maybe it was all a dream,
Love out of control,
Nothing to do.

Seems you never understood,
Or we jumped into a fire,
Accept things won't work out,
Or you'll always be a liar.
