Strength of a Woman

I've known her for years, but now she no longer cares;

To be loved again she fears, so she learns to wipe her own tears.

She became independent, starts making her own dollar;

Her heart may be broken, but broken crayons still color.

She's going through a lot, as she deserves a break;

So she wears a smile to cover her heartache.

Menstrual cramps, sleep paralysis, depression; She battles them all.

Helped so many off the ground, but who will catch her if she falls.

Shunned by society; rejected by your own family.

The degrees of pain she bears, covered by bandages, in the form of the smiles she wears.

She learns to pick herself up and get back in the game;

Because she is a WOMAN, and there's STRENGTH her name.
