There was a raging storm, and I was in the middle of it all.

But I will be Okay, I will be fine;
Cant get over you, am frozen in time.

Looking at you with your tear-filled eyes,
You look away, theres something hurting inside;

Reach for your hand as you pull it away,
Need me to let you be, but Im here to stay.

Held you close, as your body start to tremble and shake,
You try to speak, but your voice begins to break;

As the tears start flowing, down your pale face,

In your heart, I lost my place.

I can hear your cries, through the bathroom door,
When I came in, you were lying on the floor;

To numb all that pain, you kept drinking more,
Ran out of liquor, you went to the store.

Came back with some tissue to wipe your tears away,

But you were long gone, before night turns to day.

My friend snapped me back to reality, as he started to say,

"I know you love her, but its over"
"Its not your fault she crashed in your range rover"

"It doesnt matter, put the phone away;"
"Its never easy to walk away,"
"But you gotta let her go, it will be Okay"

Started scrolling through old messages you sent,

Every memory, was messing with my head;

In the gallery, everything got deleted, like the past, it was gone;

I needed to accept the fact that you were moving on.

Walking all alone in this prevailing storm,
Usually I'd hold you close and keep you warm.

Crumbling; due to this frozen time,
I can't seem to get you off my mind.

Looking at you from a distance, my heart begins to ache,
A feeling of emptiness, I just cant seem to shake.

All my friends tell me, I should just walk away;
But even though you're gone, I just want to stay.
