Not really happy, but you don't wanna die?
Not really considering taking your life,
But constantly questioning why you gotta survive?
Do you ever feel for coffee even though you just brewed,
Rethinking you actions, only if you knew,
Thought you knew who they were but you don't got a clue,
It's like coming from the doctor, but you still got a flu.

Do you have that part of your life that you really want to forget?
Feeling like an animal going to the vet,
Looking back at it now got me so upset,
Thought I'd learn a lesson but I only learnt regret.

Do you ever try to pay attention but your not really here?
Trying to sympathize but you don't really care?
Feeling the need to move on, but there's just this fear,
You'll be just another jacket that another wants to wear?
Do you ever walk past the mirror and just lie in the couch?
Depression kicks in, can't even say ouch,
Do you ever think the P in Pleasure, actually means Pain?
Indicating you'll lose twice as much as you gain,
I might be overthinking, power off my brain.

Do you ever try to care even when you don't?
Trying so hard to change but you know you won't?
Do you ever feel quiet while everyone's loud,
Like you wanna lie on the grass but it's recently mowed.

Do you ever just wanna go lie in the rain,
Soaked in it's beauty, as your feeling flow in the drain,
The mesmerizing mood has never caused me pain,
That's why being as insomniac was never in vain.

You said 'Never' in saying "Never say never"
Which wasn't really clever,
