Àrbol
You were a simple seedling, bursting your first shoot,
Sipping up some water from your tap roots.
Gave you fertilizer and you started to climb,
Sunlight hits your leaves and you started to shine.
Stems became turgid, a bee buzzed by,
You said you had some nectar, do you wanna try.
Oh I remember the taste of your first fruit,
I wished you could speak, even by just saying "I am Groot"
You florished for years and years to come,
My grandkids swang on your branches, laughter and fun.
Dancing in the winds, your branches swayed,
You fractured an arm, I wished it had stayed.
You cried and cried, leaves fell to the ground,
I knew slowly but surely you wouldn't be around.
Gave you some water, just like you were a kid,
Sipped a bit, but not like you once did.
Your fruits reduced in numbers, until you couldn't bear anymore,
You started wilting, getting dry at the core.
Word got out, you were about to die,
I wanted you to live, preserving your life I tried.
You were met with some friends, a bee buzzed by,
You waved your limb, tried to say hi.
But you were to weak, too dry at the core,
You shed your last leaf, trunk fell to the floor.
Your were a simple seedling, bursting your first shoot,
Now your kids springs from water, in your tap root.
They continued to grow, they continued to thrive,
Growing from what used be your past life.
