I guess you can call it the great divide

I'm spoken for
But my heart can't let go of the love I felt before

Today I heard someone say
That God wouldn't let you love someone who can't love you back

But I know they're wrong
Because the love I have for you is burning strong

My other half is loving and kind
But I find your always on my mind

I feel I can't give my all

It should be the other way around
