The clouds hide away the sun,
But it's still there, still burning bright.
The clouds weigh tons, but seem to weigh none,
Way up there, up at that height.

As the sun does start to set,
The clouds still do not move away,
Puddles started to form where the rain and ground met,
But even as the sun set, the clouds still decided to stay.

Most think of this as sad,
But honestly, it's not,
It keeps us alive, it's not that bad,
That in the rain is where you are caught.

The clouds that once his away the sun,
That sun, now set, yet somewhere is burning bright,
Those clouds, weigh tons, but seem to weigh none,
They moved away, but now there's still no light.

The clouds now chose to move away,
The sun has left, but hopefully we'll be okay,
I close my eyes, in my bed I lay,
And hoped I'd live to see the clouds return one day.
