SILENT THROBBINGS

Leaning on the tree,

Wishing their thoughts to be free,

She sat on one side,

While he on the other.

Walking hand in hand,

Chasing round and round,

Swinging up and down,

Flashed the memories of their past.

Towards their goals anew,

They had to move afar,

Promising to stay connected,

They bid their goodbyes.

Years later, they met again,

Speaking of the bygone days,

And their new found love,

Hiding the throbbing miseries.

Hand in hand they sat,

Leaning on the tree,

Wishing their thoughts to be free,

Only the tree, knew their concealed love.
