I can't help but feel like a waterfall
Going not to fast downhill but not too slow
Going drip drip like after it's stoppped raining some time early in the morning
The fog settling on the ground waiting lurking for anything to excite it
Like the huge puddles of water in the middle of the road
Going splash splash everytime someone stomps in it or when a car drives right through it
Like I'm so high up in the tallest tree scared to climb down like a cat stuck in a tree
When the thunder starts and the lightning strikes
When the earth starts crying
When the trees sway in the wind so hard like they're about to break
When you step in mud and start slowly sinking
When the sun casts a huge wave of heat upon the earth and you feel like a snowman melting away
But unlike all those things you can't come and go
You stay planted on the earth never leaving life
You stay to live through the tough aspects of life hoping to survive it all
Yet you feel like you can't
You keep wishing you were the water floating away down the storm drain
You keep wishing you're the clouds so you could just disappear
So you wouldn't have to deal with any of it
