The darkness surrounds you
It feels lonely and despairing
Yet it feels so warming and I'd like to devour it
Hold it in my hand keeping it there forever
The earth has dark days too literally and figuratively
The stars show that there is light in the darkness
Maybe I'm not so lonely anymore
The glittering inviting stars make me want to fly to go and catch one
And I almost do
The moon glowing in the mist of the darkness an thousands of stars
Makes you realize just how much light there is
That you aren't so lonely in the world
