Heavy Crown
You grow up wearing a heavy crown on your head
With dresses as long as rivers
And jewelry so bright and sparkly like the sun
You wear a bright smile on your face
Doing things with such pleasure and not a care in the world
But at the end of the day when you get home
You take the heavy crown off
Feeling the weight leave your body
Feeling everything you've been carrying lift off your body
You take that tight long dress all covered in sweat off your body
Putting something more comfortable on
You take all that jewelry off that was sitting tight around your wrists and set it a side
You go to bed and cry your self to sleep
The next day you get up put that costume back on and pretend as if nothing just happened
