The clock slowly ticking away
Snow falling from the monotone sky
The ground is bare
The earth is dry
Snow is falling, losing time
Tick
On one Decembers day
The ivory flecks meet the ground staying a moment
Time is lost and can't be found
Tock
Like the snowflakes that will fade
Memories past and ones not yet made
Like the abundance of flakes
Coating the ground that was once green white
Every second becoming a minute
Watching the snow fall softly
Tick
