I have a friend called Rona

Where she lives, I do not know.

Perhaps she comes from Norway

or lives somewhere in the snow?

Sometimes I think that I 

suspect a little Irish lilt?

Or may be she is Scottish

and wears a tartan kilt?

'I guess' is a phrase

I often hear her say.

So is she Canadian

Or from the U.S.A?

But it doesn't really matter

As she's a good friend to me.

She gives me such encouragement

and reads my 'poetry'.

My poems are quite silly

and written just for fun,

But her poems are intelligent

and lovely every one.

So if you haven't read them yet

You MUST given them a try.

Her poems are so beautiful

They'll bring a tear to your eye!
