A: Running around, all over no-mans land
B: Different from the usual day
A: This massive game of football was not planned
B: But they know the happiness won't stay
C: The Germans have scored quite a lot of goals
D: But thank God the English have good players
C: The German And English both cleanse their souls
D: As they recite their holy prayers
E: All clambering on top of each other
F: Yelling and crashing all to get the ball
E: Jumping up, not caring who they smother
F: And the only ones still standing are tall
G: On this one day they have made some friends
G: Just having some fun before it all ends.
