The darkness surrounds me.
It dims the light.
The midnight has been set free.
It escaped the grasp as the brightness held it tight.
The midnight has surrounded me with darkness.
I can't escape it with bliss.

It's surrounding...
I can't see...
In wonder, my heart's pounding...
No one can see or hear me...
but that's ok...
I'm all alone in this world, but I'm free...
If you hear me I'll say...

I may be alone...
But I'm free.
They let me go.
I'm finally able to be me...

The midnight filled me with hope.
I realize that I belong...
The doors finally will not close...
For you midnight, I make you a song...
