climbing higher and higher and higher
watching as the landscape passes by
a blur

feel the burn in my muscles
relish it
but dispise it as well

elevation sickness starts setting in
its been too long of a time
something is going to happen

finally I reach a sorta peak
wonder at the view
something is blocked

up on my tiptoes
I catch a glance
just a look
and lose my balance

falling backward
arms flailing
looking up at once was
never seeing my destination
as I fall

turns out the ground was near
turns out I didn't climb that far
and it was that hard already

in fact
I hadnt even climbed a mountain
it was an underwater volcano
