Note - I'm a little confused by the quote placement in the last stanza. He might have meant to place the end quote a line sooner than he did, or he might have done that on purpose, just being completely silly. From what I know about him, that is not out of the question.

Said the Senior to the Sub-prep,

"You aught to study more".

Said the Sub-prep to the Senior,

"The books are out of store".

But the Senior said quite briefly,

"You have not been there yet,

And before you are a Senior,

You'll find you're not one yet.

"In your study, just remember

That the time goes swift enough;

So you better get a wiggle,

And "plug up" all your stuff.

"This your first term is the hardest,

But you're sure to get there soon,

If you take advice from 'uncle',

Says the Comet to the Moon".
