I am a different person
Than I was just months before.
Though my looks may be no different
I have changed.
My personality is new
I feel happy now.
I am a brighter person
Much less scared and pessimistic.
I have a better view on the world
And on myself and how I can live.

If you ask me just two months ago if I can see myself grow old
I would have told you no.
But ask me now and you will see
I'm the happiest I could ever be.
I look forward to my future
And to moving forward, to bettering myself.
I can see myself as happy
And not alone anymore.
The biggest difference of this all
Is the wide smile that won't seem to leave me.
