Different is Good
Life,
I know it hurts,
You feel cut with a knife,
And your decision to stay flirts
But then, it feels... nice,
Warm, even. Welcoming,
Even if you're one grain out of thousands of rice,
You're unique from the other ones coming
But sometimes you don't like unique, different,
Because, sometimes, others don't like you for that,
And they're not always reverent,
Even starting to call you fat
And you brush them off, sometimes,
Smiling, insulting them for once,
Erasing their good times,
Calling them the dunce
Because different is good, you realize,
Even if it takes your good feelings away,
So, you rise,
Waiting for a good day
