It was a warm, spring day
And we went for a walk
To the hills above the town,
It felt so right to talk.

Wandering 'round the meadow,
Picking up flowers from the grass,
I looked at our shadows:
Lively and tangled up as one.

It was the end of April,
The Sun was soaring high,
We sat under a blooming tree
And I sang her a lullaby.

A few minutes has passed,
She was looking at the sky,
I lied down next to her,
Some birds were singing 'by.

We were gazing at the clouds,
Sharing what figures we see,
Above us were rustling
The flowers of the tree.

The land was so vibrant,
So we went on with our hike,
It was bright, it was blue,
Being kissed by the sunlight.

She was smiling, she was laughing,
The wind played with her hair,
In that moment I know that
All I wanna be was there!

It was until twilight,
We walked hand in hand,
Sitting down among the flowers,
They were pink, yellow and red.

I was looking in her eyes
Getting lost in the haze,
The blue of the ocean
Making my spirit raise.

She leaned closer to me,
I wrapped her with my arms,
She kissed me on my lips
And I fell into her charms.

The Moon has claimed the sky
With glowing stars along,
We were still making out,
Our love being so strong.

I took her by the hand,
We started our way home,
In that moment I knew
I will never be alone.
