"oh, really?" jeongguk asked, sounding shocked; but he really was. he didn't know why anyone was cheated on someone like taehyung.

"yea, she cheated on me with a girl called mihyun." taehyung scoffed.

"so...she's gay?"

"now, she is. she came out not too long."

"oh, fair enough. but what am i going to do with jimin? i can't keep doing this. he's going to do some sketchy shit that i can't control. then what? everyone'll blame me."

"he's jimin. he wouldn't do anything that put you at risk." taehyung told the brown haired male, who stared at him blankly. "i promise. you know what jimin's like. you really think he would?"

"i don't know anymore." jeongguk stated. "anyway, i don't really care about him. he can do what he wants, honestly," jeongguk told taehyung whose expression didn't alter after jeongguk said those words, surprisingly.

"jeongguk, i genuinely worry about you sometimes. you really don't give a shit about him? at all?"

"not really. he's old news for me now. we're not dating anymore, and he knows that. why doesn't he give up already?"

"he loves you. he wants to be able to finally call you his again."

"but those days are over."

"no. they're over in your head. you can get together--"

"look," jeongguk grabbed taehyung's hands. "i do not want to get back together with park jimin. what we had wasn't meant to be serious. i knew that, but jimin thought we were in a serious relationship. this is why i do not write back. i don't want to associate myself with him any longer."

"okay.." taehyung whispered. "but you know he's hurting. you can try and tell him you don't want to get back together, but, don't be harsh. he's weak, so don't damage him or some shit,"

"i'll try not do." jeongguk told taehyung as he faced the floor, trying to avoid eye contact with taehyung.
