Poems are never easy to write
Especially when you read over the finished product and think "not quite."

It's really not exciting
Especially if you don't like writing
So it really will seem uninviting
Especially if you hate rhyming.

Rhyming poems are hard
Because they always make you feel like you've drawn the wrong card.
Reading the words you've written leave you scarred
Making you feel the need to discard.

Rhyming sucks
Especially if you give no fucks
Because I would rather sit at a pond spending hours counting ducks.

Having a prompt that you hate
Makes it that much harder for you to create
And you really can't procrastinate
Because you can't go past the due date.

So to conclude this poem I wrote in first block
As I stare anxiously at the clock
I wake up from my daydream and give my head a little knock
Realizing that reading this dastardly poem aloud would make me a laughingstock.
