Whether one comes to realize their role in life;
His or her scheme in things, still strife
Enters and we deal as best we can,
No anxiety when death arises for mother of man.
Moist eyes, trembling lips and hands on face,
Overwhelms loss and we move aside to pray for grace,
Mother is dead, she departs life, without a trace.
Where in the stars is the soul who birthed us?
Enters faith, hope, desire for the everlasting trust,
Neither tossed into oblivion, or inhaled by the sun,
The trail ends not here or there, it ends in the One.
Always, in truth of mind, is pondered the demise of death,
Wanting to say I love you, words not said with life's breath,
Added time comes when we beg to meet,
Yearn to breathe, and sanctify her holy seat.
