as you look around

the changes you'll see

things growing or shrinking

and things that are free

but really, is that all its about?

with things thinking they want to

change without doubt

or change for the worse

it's not going to get any better

if you do nothing it'll all be a curse

"Set free captives!"

"We want more pay!"

"Gender equality!"

"I have more to say!"

but really, all these chants

they're just things

their nothing but old rants

being let go

as if someone, somewhere

didn't want to grow

change is needed

because we need more

and for so many reasons

"it's a chore"

they say

"We live in comfortable."

they don't understand

that not everything is destructible

for the things we don't see

like our hands and our feet

are the things that need change

that is for you and for me
