I've made many mistakes that I regret,

I tried fixing them with every sweat.

They aren't big mistakes, but in my world they are,

They're haunting me and now there's a scar.

I never thought that the past would find me,

But now it's here from what I can see.

I thought I could run, I thought I could hide,

But it found me, no matter how hard I tried.

I struggled with words, I struggled with life,

I was hurting like I've been stabbed with a knife.

There was nothing that could save me,

I wanted nothing but to just be free.

Living on my own and smiling everyday,

But that will never happen, no matter what I say.
