They said things that weren't true,

I just stood around, not sure what to do.

No one stood up for me and they lied away,

When asked if it was true, I struggled with what to say.

Things were hard and I was falling down,

It felt as if I were to drown.

With all those lies they kept on spreading,

And with all those tears that I kept shedding.

It didn't stop until the end of the year,

After it all, I was paralyzed with fear.

Nothing went as I thought it would,

I would go and change the past, if I could.

Things would be much better that way,

And I wouldn't have to worry about going to school everyday.

But that was the past and it can never change,

I found their actions towards me very strange.

What did I do to deserve this hate?

They can try to fix it, but it'd be too late.
