Fireworks
Walkers stood to a halt,
Sleepers awoke by a blast.
Every other night of silence,
Lost among the fireworks.
Glimmering temporary skies,
Permanent stars in the shadows.
The stark brilliance,
Coloured than the stars.
Eyes gleamed,
Long forgotten the beauty of stars,
Now the bright lights,
Red and green; splendid.
As the time rolled by,
The sky grew silent,
Now were dull, those bright lights
As the peace of the night came by.

Here the firework symbolises intense emotions or insecurities that demand your attention at moments. Still, at the end of the day, they are short-lived, for we have a baseline of emotions and confidence which could be forgotten during the rush of emotions.
The fireworks may also symbolise moments of weakness and the stars, your underlying strength which is forgotten when you focus on your weakness too much.
