Didn't I tell my heart?

Then why does it still hurt?
When I saw this coming,
The things you are doing.

It was like cherry blossom,
Beautiful when stayed,
But aware it won't stay forever.
I felt special, 
Even when I knew, I was just one in the crowd,
I never was special.

I stood in the cold,
Waiting for you.
I called out for you,
But, it was only silence that returned.

The friendship was beautiful,
While it was there,
Now I am tired,
No longer eager to be there.

I can't hold on any longer,
So I am letting this go,
Maybe someday you will notice,
A place empty left by me.
Until then I will let this winter,
Take over the cherry blossom, abandoned by you.
