knowing it's time to go doesn't make it easier and
recognizing that you're destined to always love people more than they love you is sickening.

deciding to put yourself first for once feels like the wrong thing.
but sometimes giving up, as difficult and cowardly as they make it seem, is what it takes to grow.

pain means growth. growth feels like loss. and if i have to be the villain in someone else's story then i have to be the villain in someone else's story.

one day i'll be okay. one day this will feel like the right thing.
