From a distance the world looks blue and green

Just a little glass marble in a child's dream

And sometimes at night the stars fight

For dominance over bright blazing city lights

But no matter how small we may appear

In the landscape of time and life's hemisphere

We together are apart of eternity

Contributing to the whole of human entity

It's easy to loose track of your self on the ground

If we could fly perhaps our worth would be easily found

Yet the closest we come to achieving such things

Are airplanes and their monstrous metal wings

It matters not your gender or color of skin

We are all one in the same and we all commit the same sin

In a world that drowns us with its wondrous enchantments

We still search for our own man made enhancements
