Strength Within

I'm still holding my own
I'm putting all my armor on
I'm still rolling strong
All my fear has gone

No longer am I covered up in makeup
To cover all my lies behind
No longer am I putting up the curtain
To hide all my feelings inside

No, I'm standing up
I'm the first in line
I'm the first to strike
I'm the first to fight

Though you're not strong on the outside
Don't mean you're weak on the inside
But continue trying
Gotta keep thriving
Striving

Soon you'll stop crying
And soon those conniving
Lying
Fools will leave

Cause strength
Lies within

K I wanted to discuss an important subject.

Black.

If we were to go back in time to slavery and segregation we'd all see something interesting

You know what that is?

Black slaves.

And you know something else?

Light skinned, dark skinned, brown skinned the entire freaking pudding was mixed in there.

And a light skinned person was considered black either way.

Whether they had white mixed in or no.

But here's the thing!

No one cared.

So to racist people out their even if you were a freaking mixed person or were lighter than others, it don't matter to them.

If you are darker than vanilla you are black.

And I'm excluding all other races except black and white so don't even start ranting about how you are Spanish and have blah blah blah

That isn't the point
The point is that light or dark

You are both beautiful and are the same.

There isn't a difference

So don't treat anyone different

Because when some racist psychopath starts killing the nearest person

They're aiming for the darkest or darker color down the spectrum.
