The Music.

The music floats out the window and flows in a trancelike state towards me, my delicate ears aching in the cold harsh wind of the relentless spring night.
A voice, almost like a siren, draws me closer to the house the music streams from, as if I've been hypnotized,

The lyrics, impossible to decipher and I confused but enchanted by the alluring voices joined in a siren's call bringing me to my knees at its charming call, and,

Thankfully, it isn't only I who have noticed, a few select others have turned their heads towards the chorus of violins and guitars clashing with the voice in such a charming way...

I slowly take controlled, stumbling steps towards the house...

My head swimming, my eyelids heavy, I wish for sleep not to investigate this sound. Yet, this was something I needed to know the answer to, it wasn't something I could simply pass on, like garbage.

It was a golden treasure, filled with magic and whimsy...

Music.

And it brought me to my knees, begging for the only treasure no one can capture, or put in a glass bottle to gawk at.

Truly Unattainable, except for the lucky few it has chosen to call it's mesmerizing voice out into the great abyss of life and see their reaction.

It's that lucky few, I heard on that fateful night.

Maybe I was hearing things, maybe I was fatigued and imagined it.

But the twinkling of the bells in the night, glittering like stars keeping time with the electric guitars and drums fighting against the gentle waves the violins and pianos brung to that night.

The night I heard all the music play in unison, matching and mismatching in the most flawless ways.
