About best friends: 

you give me so much hope and love, 
making me feel like a dove. 

I feel free and happy, 
hoping it does not sound too sappy. 

you are there for me, 
drinking with me often tea. 

I am so grateful to you, 
and hope our friendship lasts forever too. 

you make me laugh and smile, 
walking for me an extra mile. 

in my hardships, you were there and loving, 
and so much with a smile giving. 

I hope you are so happy, 
without wearing a cappy. 

I  am there always, 
walking with you through the maze. 

I am so happy we met and formed a friendship, 
that has no end. 

you are so precious, 
giving life something delicious. 

For many years we walked together through life, 
never handing each other a knife. 

I am here to stay, 
come what may.
