Falling in Love and first kisses: 

Slowly our eyes met, 
and I had to take off my hat. 

I am breathless,
and a huge mess. 

My heart beats faster, 
and I am no longer a master. 

I know something is right, 
and my chest is no longer tight. 

I am happy we met, 
even so, because you have a cat. 

I am relaxed and can be myself, 
nevertheless, I will put myself on a higher shelf. 

We should take it really slow, 
as there is no rush. 

I want to get to know your layers 
and your emotions, and what keeps you awake at night. 

I want to get lost in your eyes 
and connect with your heart. 

I don't know what happens to me, 
but maybe it is meant to be. 

Kisses should happen with time, 
and this is clearly a rhyme. 

I am curious to see what will happen 
and will let you in slowly.
