"Forever I promise you baby" Wow how words go astray so easily

You told me you'd love me forever "I won't hurt you or break your heart" We're the exact words you said, oh how I dread all those words you said

You told me you'd keep me close, but I guess I was just another girl you disposed in the trash like the others

I can't escape the sweet words you haves said to me, why can't you hear my plea?

I dread the day I held your hand, kissed your lips and held you close, in the end you never loved me and just took me as a joke

You said our love wasn't real and you never loved me, guess I was gonna find out eventually huh?
