Poem 2: Rain
Raindrops fall to the ground outside.
I like the rain. It doesn't try to hide.
It pours down on everything and everyone,
Making puddles for me to have fun.
I watch the rain as it falls.
The sound of dripping fills the halls.
Curious, I get up
And, just in case, bring a small cup.
Sure enough, there's a leak.
I set the cup underneath and speak
To the falling rain:
"Though I try to stop you,
my efforts may just be in vain."
I sit on the floor
As I resume watching the rain pour.
I smile to myself and hum along
As the rain seems to sing a song.
Though the rain falls and brings strife,
And it may spring leaks in your life,
You can't stop the rain as it falls;
It may even flood the halls.
However, listen close and you'll hear
A song for you to hold dear:
"After the rain passes, you already know;
After the rain comes a beautiful rainbow."

My second poem!
I'm really happy about this one.
Once again, if you're curious about the meaning, let me know!
