I'm looking into distant eyes.

These eyes are looking at me, but not really.

These eyes seem lost, gone, clouded over at times.

These eyes show me stories

of love, lose, inner battles, adventures most of the time.

But more so these eyes show so much emotion.

From love, joy, kindness, and understanding.

To sadness, pain, fear, loneliness, and heartbreak.

The funny thing about these eyes,
