When you're body is changing in ways you couldn't even imagine,

You're expected to know what you want in the future even if you have no clue,

When you have more hormones than you know what to do with or control,

When you can't stop thinking about that one person that it messes with you're brain and you don't know how to stop,
But don't complain.

When your figuring things out about yourself, but you can't tell anyone because you don't know you're not alone,
But don't complain.

When you're expected to have a life's worth of knowledge, but you're not even half way through,
But don't complain.

When you have to grow up in a matter of years from dollhouse and tea parties to college and jobs,
But don't complain.

You say you wish you could go back to that time? To all of that? Well you can't,
So don't complain.
