What would happen
If I didn't stand by?
Would it stop?
Make it worse?
Make me the new target?
I don't want to take the chance.
Leave them to defend themselves
Protect yourself.
You can feel sorry for them,
Just don't get involved.
This is what my reasons are.
But as I watch
I can't help but wonder

If I helped them?

"Leave them alone!"
"Stop!"
