The babble of voices

Gave gossip to the sky

Leaving secrets in the leaves

Happy voices pass by

Rustling of the trees

Echo the excitement in the air

Do they hear plans 

Whispered over there?

The clouds gather

Blocking the sun from the news

Eager voices shout

Each tree has a story on their leaves

Some funny others sad

and the clouds respond in earnest

Laughing till they cry

Sorrowing, causing a tempest

Nature reveled in the gossip of humans

At every storm they sent the news

to the sun, which shone them

To the moon and to the stars
