They sat in their homes

Glued to the screen

Typing and laughing virtually

Is how towards eachother they lean

It was so unusual

Yet so romantic

Without seeing eachother

Their love grew to be gigantic

Smileys and emoticons

Depicting the emotions

Network became the new God

Sought with full devotion

Physically apart, virtually close

Thats how the love grew

Why to worry about distance

When true feelings brew

Sometimes, distance did pinch

When the craving was intense

But if the love is true

It will win over the devil of distance

Sometimes, misunderstandings creep in

Shaking the base of relation

Thats when the trust comes in

To fight every suspicion

World- whether real or virtual,

Will have a strong base
