Tyndall Effect (glassEyed)

Tyndall Effect

When the first ray

Peeks through the

Horizon

You glide in, and

Wrap your flawless

Golden fingers

About my dark

Flawed ones -

Uncaring of

The ruggedness.

We then dance

Under te canopy

Of ever-vigilant

Silhouettes,

The breeze

Whispering songs

Of bygone days.

In the sea of

Daylit stars,

I hold onto you -

Uncaring of the

World outside.

Because this

Moment of bliss

Is ephemeral

And you'll be

Gone as the light

Dies,

With the sweet promise

Of returning

Tomorrow.

And return you will;

With your same

Tender smile and

Flawless fingers.

But the hands

You'll hold will

Be a little bit

Darker

A little more

Rugged

And a little bit

More flawed.
